Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize quantum algorithms for real-world applications in chemistry, optimization, and machine learning
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to translate algorithmic concepts into practical quantum solutions
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to leverage the strengths of both paradigms
- Analyze algorithmic performance and scalability for quantum hardware constraints
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Contribute to open-source quantum algorithm repositories and communities
Requirements
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development
- Strong background in quantum computing theory and linear algebra
- Proficiency in Python and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Experience with mathematical modeling and optimization techniques
