Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop quantum hardware components, including qubit control systems and cryogenic electronics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing systems
- Optimize hardware performance through simulation, prototyping, and testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues in quantum computing systems
- Document technical specifications and maintain version control for hardware designs
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in hardware development
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in hardware engineering, preferably in quantum or cryogenic systems
- Proficiency in CAD tools, FPGA programming, and control system design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex hardware challenges
- Experience with quantum computing architectures and error correction techniques
