About the Role
We are searching for an NLP Research Scientist to join a globally known company in London on a permanent basis. This is a 100% onsite role with no flexibility for hybrid or remote work. The role focuses on leading and participating in cutting-edge research projects, building benchmarks/baselines using public datasets, and training LLMs on novel, applicable, and practical tasks. You will also have the opportunity to publish research papers at top-tier NLP/ML/AI conferences and journals.

Requirements
- PhD degree in Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, or related areas.
- Strong research track record with publications in top-tier NLP/ML conferences including ACL, NAACL, EMNLP, EACL, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, and top-tier journals.
- Result-driven with good communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a multi-cultural, multi-site, multi-language, and changing environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team of research and technical experts.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working on research projects in either academia or industry focused around Natural Language Processing or Machine Learning topics.
- Very good knowledge of existing LLMs and evaluation frameworks, including experience with the most recent foundational language models.
