About The Team

Multimedia and AI Security team is devoted to using big data and machine learning algorithms, building large scale systems to improve data protection, attacking discovery, security visualization and investigation for all Bytedance products and platforms. We are developing several capabilities, including watermark platforms, data classification, traffic attack detection algorithms, that have been integrated into Douyin, Lark, VolcanoEngine, Advertisement, E-commerce. At the same time, we are doing applied research work on SOTA methods in related fields, publishing papers in top conferences or journals. In this team, you will have many opportunities to study a large variety of scenarios and carry out cutting-edge research work to make an impact on billions of users and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Research Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning techniques to improve data protection, attacking discovery, security visualization and investigation.
  • Work with engineers to build, optimize models, integrate them into Bytedance products.
  • Publish impactful research work on top conferences or journals, prepare technical reserves for the near future.

Qualifications

  • PhD degree in computer science, electrical engineering, artificial intelligence etc.
  • Published papers at top conferences or journals in related fields, e.g. CVPR/NeurIPS/AAAI/ACMMM/S&P/CCS/USENIX Security.
  • Solid knowledge and experience with neural network architectures and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/Pytorch/etc).
  • Proficient in Python/SQL, solid programming skills.
  • Proficient in big data platforms (Hadoop/Kafka/ELK/) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, complete projects from beginning to end.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, good leadership skill is a plus.
  • Passionate about solving challenging problems, fast learner.
