Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify 3D structural steel models using SDS2 software
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate and efficient design outputs
- Generate detailed shop drawings and fabrication documents from models
- Validate model integrity and resolve design conflicts proactively
- Adhere to industry standards and company design guidelines
- Support project teams with technical expertise in steel detailing
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in structural steel detailing or modeling
- Proficiency in SDS2 and CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication and construction processes
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
