About the Role
The Revenue Analytics team at Extend is dedicated to developing strategic recommendations grounded in data to scale, drive, and recover revenue. This team synthesizes insights from Sales, Growth, Product, Engineering, and Risk departments to identify growth and expansion opportunities that directly contribute to the company’s bottom line. What You Will Be Doing
- Cross-functional Champion: Independently lead cross-functional teams to address ambiguous questions, influencing and implementing revenue-driving initiatives and recommendations.
- Revenue Optimization: Take ownership of identifying innovative new strategies to maximize revenue and enhance client acquisition throughout the entire revenue waterfall.
- Data-driven Insights: Lead efforts to improve quantitative analysis techniques, including simulation models, A/B testing, and causal impact analysis, to effectively influence strategic direction. Opportunities to present these insights to leadership will be regular.
- Data Infrastructure: Own, refine, and enhance existing data pipelines to leverage the power of data analytics. This includes defining data structures and utilizing advanced tracking methodologies to uncover revenue opportunities.
- Role Model: Set the standard for analytical thinking and excellence within the team.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in data science and/or consulting, with a strong emphasis on translating business problems into data-driven impact.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to convey data insights to diverse audiences.
- Expert knowledge of SQL, Python, A/B testing, and Github.
- Intellectually curious, willing to think beyond the revenue organization, and able to prioritize what is best for the business holistically.
- An empathetic, humble, and collaborative team player.
- An advanced degree in data science, analytics, economics, statistics, or a similar quantitative field.
- Candidates must be located within the continental United States.
