As a Senior Industrial Engineer at RTX, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of industrial processes and systems to improve efficiency and productivity in a manufacturing environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that meet business objectives. Key Responsibilities include:
- Design and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs
- Develop and maintain manufacturing systems, including automation and control systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in industrial engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, including automation and control systems
- Experience with Python programming language and AWS
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
