Responsibilities
- Develop and innovate Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Multi-Modal Sensing technologies for perception in autonomous systems.
- Transform research concepts into working prototypes and work on their integration into autonomous systems.
- Support data collection and curation activities.
- Liaise and work cooperatively with our global team of experts and engineers.
- Mentor undergraduate and graduate engineers.
Minimum Requirements
- MSc degree in Computer Vision, Machine Learning or a closely related field.
- 4+ years of industrial experience in development and delivery of Deep Learning based solutions for perception systems.
- Experience of production-grade and high-volume Computer Vision and Machine Learning pipelines for pre-processing, training and deployment.
- Excellent knowledge of the state-of-the-art Deep Learning techniques for Computer Vision.
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and excellent skills in Python programming.
- Extensive experience in using major Deep Learning Libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow,…) and Computer Vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV, PCL,…).
- Very good software engineering practices and familiarity with software development platforms, version control and issue tracking tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Requirements
- Hands-on experience in developing multi-modal 3D Computer Vision solutions.
- Hands-on experience in using classical machine learning techniques.
- Good knowledge of neural network optimisation techniques, e.g., quantisation and pruning.
- Good knowledge of probabilistic methods for object tracking (e.g., Kalman/Particle Filters, RTS smoothing,…)
- Domain expertise in Robotics or Driver Assistance Systems
