About the Role
Epic Games is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager, Analytics & Optimization to join our team. In this role, you will lead the charge in measuring and optimizing the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives across various channels. You will be instrumental in transforming data into actionable insights, driving continuous improvement and maximizing ROI for our marketing efforts.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement robust analytics frameworks to track and measure the performance of marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (e.g., email, push notifications, in-app messaging, web).
- Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and other experimental designs to identify optimal strategies for user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and data science teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and build dashboards and reports to monitor progress against goals.
- Conduct deep-dive quantitative analysis to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for various stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in marketing analytics and optimization.
- Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the marketing team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, growth marketing, or a related quantitative field, preferably within the gaming or digital entertainment industry.
- Proven expertise in designing and executing A/B tests and other experimentation methodologies, with a strong understanding of statistical significance.
- Proficiency in SQL is required. Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) are essential.
- Experience with various analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Braze, Amplitude, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and their associated metrics (e.g., email marketing, push notifications, in-app messaging, web analytics).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A passion for games and a deep understanding of the gaming ecosystem is highly desirable.
