As a Senior Principal Systems Engineer - Weapons RE, you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of complex systems for weapons systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that systems meet customer requirements and are delivered on time and within budget. You will also be responsible for leading and mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure that systems are designed and developed to meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex systems for weapons systems, including software, hardware, and integration of multiple components.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure that systems are designed and developed to meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that systems meet customer requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technical experts to resolve complex technical issues and ensure that systems are designed and developed to meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on weapons systems.
  • Proven experience with C++ and Python programming languages.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems and AWS cloud computing platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience with Agile project management tools.
