About the Role

The Product Management team at Asana drives the company’s product strategy and execution, translating customer needs into a compelling roadmap and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver impactful solutions for team productivity and collaboration. This team helps define the Work Management category and invents new ways for teams to work more efficiently and understand the larger purpose of their work. They work directly with Engineering, Design, Experience Research, and Data Science, as well as Sales, Support, and Marketing to ship great products, taking part in every aspect of product work from strategy to process improvements.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead our Communications Integrations team. This role will define the experience for customers using Asana on frequently-visited platforms for knowledge workers, specifically Google, Microsoft, and Slack. You will be responsible for bringing the power of Asana to these top platforms and building experiences that connect Asana AI to Gemini, Copilot, and other 3rd-party AIs and agents. This position requires a seasoned product leader with deep empathy for customers, who excels in complex systems thinking to create seamless customer experiences. You will thrive on cross-functional collaboration, partnering with engineering, design, user research, product marketing, product leadership, and the broader PM team.

This role is based in our Vancouver office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with the option to work from home on Wednesdays for most Asanas. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work and team partnerships.

What you’ll achieve

  • Lead a team to build powerful, delightful experiences for users on Asana’s top integrations with Google, Microsoft, and Slack to drive user adoption, retention, and growth.
  • Partner closely with Google, Microsoft, and Slack to develop a shared roadmap that maximizes the reach of Asana workflows and the power of Asana AI, including how Asana’s AI interacts with 3rd-party AI on these platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and synthesize data and user inputs to identify customer problems, establish a vision, set strategy, and build and ship solutions.
  • Partner with engineering, design, and other functions to execute on roadmaps with high velocity.
  • Maximize clarity by bringing a data-driven mindset to setting goals and milestones.

About you

  • 5-8+ years of product management experience, with the majority in building and growing user-facing features in B2B SaaS products serving Enterprise customers. Experience building on 3rd party platform integrations is a nice-to-have.
  • Systems thinker: Ability to conceptualize valuable connections between user actions and notifications across different channels, understanding their impact on user adoption and retention.
  • Genuine AI enthusiasm: Curious, adaptable, and genuinely excited about how LLMs are transforming software discovery and adoption. Experience with AI/ML products, LLM APIs, is a nice-to-have.
  • Strategic: Inspire the company by creating bold, intuitive work experiences for users across different channels to solve user problems effectively.
  • Get Stuff Done: Create, flex, and evangelize a roadmap; thoughtfully break down projects into MVPs and iterative projects to ship with high velocity and business impact.
  • Customer-centric: Analyze top customer personas, delve into the roots of customer needs, and synthesize research to gain a deep understanding and narrow definition of a problem.
  • Communication and collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teammates to deliver high-quality results. Speak with clarity and write sharp product specs. Comfortable engaging in technical discussions with engineers about different approaches and pairing with design on complex user flows.
  • Growth Mindset: Lead with curiosity and be open to feedback for continuous learning.
