We develop a digital ecosystem of products and services that supports our game development and publishing teams, and connects players to the content they love. From the Epic Games Store to player accounts, publishing tools, and services, our team is essential to the success of Epic Games.

What you'll do

Epic Games is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Publishing organization. You’ll be defining features and building products that make it easier for our partners to publish and manage content, games, and applications on Epic’s various platforms. As a Senior Product Manager on this team, you’ll be helping to drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for a diverse set of products and services that empower our partners to release and manage content across Epic's platforms. This role is highly collaborative and will require the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience working with publishing platforms or tools in the games, media, or related industries.

In this role, you will

  • Lead the product vision and strategy for a suite of publishing tools, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and business development to define, prioritize, and deliver product features.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback sessions to identify opportunities and unmet needs for publishing partners.
  • Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, working closely with engineering and design to ensure clear communication and understanding.
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business impact, technical feasibility, and strategic importance.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven decisions to optimize product features and user experience.
  • Communicate product updates, roadmap, and performance to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on publishing tools and platforms, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of product management experience in a software development environment, with a focus on publishing platforms or tools (e.g., games, media, e-commerce).
  • Proven experience owning and driving product strategy, from conception to launch and iteration.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with data analysis and metrics-driven product development.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles and design tools (e.g., Figma) is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing business needs.
  • Experience working with game developers or content creators is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of relevant technologies such as APIs, content delivery networks (CDNs), and cloud platforms.
  • You’re user-focused, passionate, solutions-focused, and innovative.
  • You’re able to communicate and collaborate with all levels of employees and thrive in a team environment.
  • You’re highly organized, results-oriented, and self-driven.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.

Nice to have skills

  • Experience using analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Python, Excel).
  • Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).
  • Proficiency in G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
