📍Location We’re fully remote and typically welcome candidates from anywhere in the US. However, for this specific position, we are ideally looking for candidates located in the AMER Pacific Time Zone due to a portion of the book of business being located in ANZ/APAC regions.

💼 The Role As a Senior Professional Services Engineer, you will act as a hands-on technical consultant, owning customer engagements end to end, from kickoff through delivery and handover. Your focus is helping customers successfully design, implement, and scale their Cortex setup through a consultative, hands-on-driven approach.

You’ll work closely with customers to understand their engineering ecosystem, data models, and how their organization structures its Engineering Operations System. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to customers, solving real technical problems, and translating complex systems into practical solutions.

You’ll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, from engineers and platform teams to Product Managers, Engineering Leadership, and CTOs.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

Customer Engagement & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Cortex Onboarding & Implementation packages, from kickoff through handover, via structured enablement workshops and tailored customer engagements
  • Serve as the main technical point of contact during implementation to troubleshoot issues, investigate bugs, and raise product feedback
  • Act as a trusted, consultative advisor, helping customers make informed design and implementation decisions

Technical Implementation

  • Design, configure, and troubleshoot Cortex features and integrations across the engineering toolchain
  • Advise on and implement data modeling strategies within Cortex (entities, relationships, ownership); create and communicate architecture diagrams for Cortex setups and ingestion pipelines
  • Guide customers on data ingestion automation, ownership, reporting and orchestration approaches (e.g. GitHub Actions, Argo)
