About the Role
GenScript is looking for a Senior Scientist to join its AI & Big Data Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bioinformatics projects and will contribute to the development of web-based and standalone tools for synthetic biology, protein engineering, and antibody engineering. This role involves developing algorithms to assist customers with technical challenges and performing data mining and analysis, including deep learning, on synthesis-related data.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for bioinformatics projects.
- Develop web-based tools or standalone tools for synthetic biology, protein engineering, and antibody engineering.
- Develop algorithms to assist customers in solving technical barriers.
- Perform data mining (including deep learning) and analysis on synthesis related data.
Qualifications
- PhD Degree in bioinformatics or deep learning, with at least three years of experience in algorithm/model development.
- Knowledgeable in the field of molecular biology or protein.
- Proficiency in Python/Java/C++.
- Proficiency in Pytorch/Tensorflow.
- Preferable if the candidate has experience in natural language processing and large language model.
- Preferable if the candidate has experience in pre-trained language models and generative AI.
- Preferable if the candidate has experience in algorithm, software, and pipeline development.
- Proactively participate in collaborative and innovative projects.
- Having a keen sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and good communication and teamwork skills.
