As a Senior Software Engineer on our Internal Observability team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing systems to monitor and analyze our internal infrastructure and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, and develop tools to improve our observability and incident response capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement observability systems using AWS and Azure services
- Develop and maintain C++ applications to collect and process observability data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues
- Develop and maintain tools to improve observability and incident response capabilities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in observability and incident response
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on observability and incident response
- Strong understanding of AWS and Azure services, including cloud security and compliance
- Proficiency in C++ and experience with observability data processing and analysis
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
