Our physics team is looking for a qualified Senior Staff Software Engineer to join them.

What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge physics systems for Unreal Engine.
  • Focus on collision detection, rigid body dynamics, and cloth simulation, ensuring high performance and stability.
  • Collaborate closely with various teams, including rendering, animation, and gameplay, to integrate physics systems seamlessly.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in physics simulation and related fields.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong C++ programming skills and experience with large-scale software development.
  • Deep understanding of physics principles, numerical methods, and their application in real-time simulation.
  • Expertise in collision detection, rigid body dynamics, and related algorithms.
  • Experience with performance optimization on modern CPU architectures, including SIMD and memory architecture.
  • Familiarity with parallel computing techniques.
  • Proven ability to design and implement complex software systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine or other game engines is a plus.
  • Experience in high-performance computing or related fields is a plus.
