As a Senior Storage Engineer at lambda, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable storage systems for high-performance applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement highly available and scalable storage solutions using AWS services.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate storage solutions with our cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain storage system architecture, including data modeling, data protection, and data recovery.
- Optimize storage system performance, capacity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other teams.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in storage engineering, with a focus on cloud-based storage solutions.
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS services, including S3, EBS, and Elastic File System.
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and their application to storage systems.
- Experience with Python programming language and its application to storage system development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
