We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex Position, Navigation & Timing (PNT) systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement system architectures, and ensure that systems meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex PNT systems, including navigation, timing, and positioning systems.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement system architectures, ensuring that systems meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to develop and test system components, and ensure that systems are integrated and functioning correctly.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including design documents, test plans, and technical reports.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians, and mentor them in system design and development.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on PNT systems.
- Strong knowledge of Python, Node.js, and AWS, with experience in developing and deploying complex systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, as required by the program.
