The Role & Team

The Platform Team is now looking for an Unreal Developer with experience in tool development to help with the development of our Creator Tooling and UGC distribution platform. The Platform Team is responsible for creating a mod-hosting service that allows modders to easily create, prepare, and distribute mods, while simultaneously allowing players to quickly find, install, and experience content beyond what is included in the base game.

Key Responsibilities

Modifying an internal build of the Unreal Editor for external creators to use to develop mods for Chronicles: Medieval

Developing and maintaining samples and templates, as well as assisting with the creation of documentation to provide Creators with a knowledge base

Designing, developing, and maintaining Unreal-specific elements of the creation distribution pipeline

Representing Creator and Platform Team needs during discussions with the Game Development Team

What We're Looking For

Engineering credits on at least two Unreal Engine titles with at least one console release

5 years of experience working in Unreal Editor

5 years of engineering experience in the video games industry

2 years of engineering experience on current-gen console development

2 years of experience building internal or external tooling for designers/creators

Extensive experience with C++ beyond Unreal Code

Experience developing and/or maintaining a build pipeline involving Unreal Engine

Some experience writing technical documentation

An understanding of supporting UGC/Mods in the Unreal Engine
