We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer/Principal Design Engineer to join our team in Roy, UT. As a key member of our Sentinel program, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex systems and software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of hardware and software components. Your expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) and systems engineering will be critical in driving the development of innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex systems and software solutions using Python, Node.js, and AWS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of hardware and software components.
- Apply machine learning techniques to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and designs.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to ensure compliance with program requirements.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design engineering, with a focus on systems engineering and software development.
- Proven expertise in Python, Node.js, and AWS, with experience in machine learning and computer-aided design (CAD).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance is not required for this position.
