As a Senior Principal Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of large-scale systems, with a focus on cloud computing and machine learning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy complex systems, and ensure they meet the required performance, security, and scalability standards. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement large-scale systems, including cloud-based architectures and machine learning models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy complex systems, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability standards.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing and machine learning, and apply this knowledge to improve system design and implementation.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on cloud computing and machine learning.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures, including AWS and Azure.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including containerization and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and Node.js.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
