As a Staff Systems Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of complex systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs, and collaborate with engineers to resolve defects and improve system performance. This role requires a strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, and experience with test automation tools and techniques.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of complex systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs and develop test strategies.
- Work with engineers to resolve defects and improve system performance.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts using Python and C++.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers on testing methodologies and best practices.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile.
- Experience with test automation tools and techniques, including Python and C++.
