As a Sr. Principal Network Communications Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of network communications systems for a leading defense contractor. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of network communications systems, including network architecture, protocols, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and technical reports.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in network communications, and apply this knowledge to improve our solutions.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in network communications engineering, with a focus on design, development, and implementation.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Strong programming skills, including Python and Node.js.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS.
