What we do
We deliver the Unreal Editor as a powerful, high quality product. This includes tools such as the Content Browser, Details Panel, Output Log, Level Editor, etc. We work closely with internal and external partners to deliver features, improvements, and stability for both internal and external game teams. We’re looking for someone to help us take the editor to the next level of efficiency and quality.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the core editor functionality and its underlying frameworks. You will work on new features, improve existing ones, and help maintain the overall quality and stability of the editor.
- Work with designers and artists to understand their workflow and pain points
- Work with product owners to identify and prioritize work
- Work with other engineers to design and implement new features
- Work with QA to ensure the quality of the editor
- Work with other teams to integrate new features and improvements into the editor
What we’re looking for
- Experience with Unreal Editor and its tools
- Experience with C++
- Experience with software development
- Understanding of how to build and maintain a large codebase
- Understanding of how to work with a large team
- Strong communication skills
