We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our data infrastructure and acquisition team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data processing pipelines using Python and Bash.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy cloud-based data infrastructure on Google Cloud.
- Develop and maintain Dockerized applications and services.
- Work with data engineers to design and implement data acquisition and processing systems.
- Contribute to the development of new features and improvements to existing systems.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on data infrastructure and acquisition.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Strong understanding of data processing and acquisition concepts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
