As a Software Engineer on the Monetization Product & Platform team at openai, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative monetization products and platforms that drive revenue growth and customer engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, develop technical solutions, and implement scalable and secure systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality software components using Python, Node.js, and other technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define product requirements and develop technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain large-scale, distributed systems on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Work with machine learning engineers to integrate ML models into our products and platforms.
- Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and contribute to the growth of our engineering team.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on product development and platform engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, Node.js, and AWS, with experience in machine learning and data engineering a plus.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
