Who will excel?
We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager, for a newly established electronic payments provider. The candidate must possess 5+ years of experience in coordinating teams and 10+ years’ hands on experience in software development of high-performance enterprise applications using .NET related technologies.
The candidate must understand well the programming patterns and methodologies, have a strong OOP knowledge. He/she shall understand and be familiar with the concepts of good and secure programming. The candidate must be skilled in using recent versions of Microsoft Development Tools. He/she will be deeply involved in the architectural design of the payment gateway platform, following the activities from high level requirements of the individual units to the complete implementation and, following the lead by example paradigm, he/she will be required to do some hands-on activities.
The candidate must have direct experience in managing people, as he/she will be responsible of the team execution, the quality, and the speed of the produce, with particular attention to lead and encourage the engineering team to meet goals and standards while implementing the company's policies and regulations.
Previous work with ecommerce and payment related technologies will be huge advantage.
Responsibilities
- Support the design of the architecture of the payment gateway
- Identify high-level system requirements and design individual components and services
- Coordinate and help to implement systems with emphasis on quality, high-performance and security
- Create technical documentation as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science
- 10+ years of experience in software development
- 5+ years of experience in managing teams
