About the Role
The Software Product Manager role involves defining and managing a software product's development, from ideation to release. We are building a team of product managers to define the product strategy, roadmap, and detail the plan for building the world's largest B2B IIoT platform for managing operations in remote locations across businesses using technology.
Key Responsibilities of Role
- Work with fellow Product Managers and Leadership in defining the product strategy and roadmap for Adani Industry Cloud platform as well as the business apps that are developed on the platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to craft vision, roadmap, strategy and concept development of a product.
- Conduct data-driven research for value proposition and prioritization of features.
- Act as a leader and product champion within the company.
- Incorporate feature requests into the product roadmap.
- Groom and prioritize backlog.
- Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria.
- Set sprint goals.
- Write acceptance tests.
- Plan releases and upgrades.
- Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints.
- Analyze preferences and requests of end users.
- Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback.
- Keep track of industry trends.
- Keep up with agile/scrum best practices and trends.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Product Manager or similar role in product management.
- Experience in IIoT platforms with Energy, Infrastructure, or Manufacturing domain.
- Demonstrated success defining and launching B2B products with a defined business value proposition.
- Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.
- Should be able to work in startup mode experimenting with ideas and test out hypotheses using AI, GenAI, Analytics, Digital tools, and open source tools to create MVPs, thinking out of the box.
- Familiarity with agile is a must, SAFE PM/PO preferred.
- Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies.
- Excellent team spirit and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past.
- Generate an Idea pipeline for exploring new value for business.
