We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer II - V&V (Biology) to join our team. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and validating software applications in the biology domain. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts, develop and execute test plans, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts, and provide feedback on test results.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
- Identify and report defects to development teams, and work with them to resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on biology domain.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and testing tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
