As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, Control Actuation Systems (CAS), you will be responsible for designing and developing control actuation systems for various applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring seamless operation and performance. Your expertise in mechanical engineering, control systems, and actuation systems will be crucial in developing innovative solutions that meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control actuation systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical and electrical systems.
- Develop and implement Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models to optimize system performance.
- Conduct testing and validation of control actuation systems to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, control systems, and actuation systems.
- Strong expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, as required by the customer.
