As a Sr. Principal Mechanical Drafting Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components for complex engineering projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet customer requirements and are delivered on time and within budget. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components using SolidWorks, CATIA, and Autodesk Inventor.
- Perform finite element analysis to validate design integrity and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and is delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and drawings.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and support.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical design and development.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and finite element analysis.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA, and Autodesk Inventor.
- Experience with finite element analysis software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
