We are seeking a Sr Principal/Principal Flight Test Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing flight test plans for complex aerospace systems. This includes developing test plans, procedures, and reports, as well as leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute flight test plans and procedures for complex aerospace systems.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers in the development and execution of flight test plans.
- Develop and maintain test equipment and software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test plans meet program requirements.
- Analyze test data and develop reports to document test results.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in flight test engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience with Python, C++, MATLAB, and Simulink.
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and experience with test equipment and software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
