The Role

We are looking for a Sr. UX Researcher who owns their space, moves quickly, and drives real product decisions within the secrets management space. This role is the primary customer advocate for our password management capabilities. You will be responsible for identifying meaningful problems across this ecosystem, delivering actionable insights, and influencing what gets built. Success in this role means research is not just conducted; it is used to shape product direction and prioritization. You will operate in a high-velocity environment where speed and clarity matter. This is not a role for someone who waits for requests or delivers academic-style research. You are expected to form strong points of view, challenge assumptions, and ensure the customer perspective is represented in key decisions, even in the face of strong opinions This role offers high ownership, direct impact on product direction, and the opportunity to solve complex problems in enterprise secrets management, including credential storage, access workflows, and usability of security controls across both admin and end-user contexts.

What You’ll Do

  • Own UX research for BeyondTrust’s password and secrets management capabilities
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact problems across both administrator and end-user experiences
  • Deliver fast, high-quality research that keeps pace with product development
  • Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations, not just findings
  • Influence roadmap and prioritization decisions through evidence and strong point of view
  • Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to shape both problem definition and solution direction
  • Act as the primary customer advocate in product discussions, ensuring user needs are represented across multiple user types
  • Push back on assumptions and challenge decisions when they are not aligned with user needs
  • Conduct end-to-end research using a mix of methods
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to uncover high-impact opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with PMs, designers, and engineers to ensure research is trusted and used
  • Operate independently and manage multiple high-priority efforts without heavy support

What You’ll Bring

  • 5–10 years of experience working on complex enterprise or B2B products
  • Proven experience driving product decisions through UX research
  • Strong working knowledge of enterprise software and complex ad
