Location & Remote Work
Our technology team operates under a "remote-first" model, which means we work from home and can live anywhere in Brazil. We also offer the option of working from our São Paulo offices or partner coworking spaces, up to twice a week.
About the Team
At QuintoAndar, opening doors to the future of housing also means radically transforming our internal efficiency through technology. In our Tech Platform area, we are building the foundational framework that will enable the sustainable adoption of Artificial Intelligence and hyper-automation across the entire company. Your ultimate challenge will be designing architectures from scratch, establishing guardrails, managing platform costs, and creating protection mechanisms so that anyone in the company can build automations with autonomy, scalability, and total security. This is a highly strategic, early-stage opportunity where you will have plenty of room to rethink platforms and solve complex, unprecedented problems that do not have ready-made answers in the market.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a SRE or Software Engineer.
- Interest in applied AI — understanding models, costs, observability, and use cases.
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and platform tools such as Kubernetes (K8s), containers, Vault, and API Ingress.
- Deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including version control, testing, deploy automation, code review, and technical design documentation.
- Strong knowledge of modern CI/CD processes (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment).
- Proven track record of building software and systems architecture completely from scratch.
- Experience handling high-scale, performance challenges and a deep understanding of distributed systems.
- Solid knowledge of database modeling, structuring, and evolution.
- Strong hands-on experience with agile methodologies like Kanban or Scrum.
- Professional proficiency in both Portuguese and English
Desired
- Genuine interest or practical experience in applied AI, including understanding models, costs, tokens, and observability.
- Previous experience working with no-code/low-code platforms such as Zapier, Base44, Botpress, or Botcity.
- Background in mentoring, technically leading, or influencing other SREs.
