We're looking for a Staff Developer to join our Billing and Payments team. As a Staff Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our billing and payment systems. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration with our existing infrastructure. You will be working with a variety of technologies including Python, Node.js, Machine Learning, and AWS. As a Staff Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing new features for our billing and payment systems
- Maintaining and improving existing systems to ensure high availability and performance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with our existing infrastructure
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for technical debt reduction and process improvements
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend systems
- Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, and AWS
- Experience with Machine Learning and data analysis is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
