Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze transmission line steel lattice towers and substation/switchyard structures
- Develop 3D structural models using PLS-TOWER and STAAD.Pro
- Prepare construction drawings including GA, detail, and fabrication drawings
- Perform tower foundation design for pad & chimney, pile, and drilled pier foundations
- Conduct structural calculations and prepare technical documentation
- Apply Indian and international codes (IS 800, IS 802, IS 1893, IEC 60826, ASCE, BS EN)
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering (M.Tech preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in structural design (any domain)
- Proficiency in STAAD.Pro and AutoCAD (2D/3D drafting)
- Experience with transmission line or substation structures is a plus
- Willingness to learn power sector-specific workflows and software
