As a Systems Engineering Manager 2, you will lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate complex systems for defense and aerospace applications. You will be responsible for ensuring that systems meet customer requirements and are delivered on time and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of systems engineering principles, Agile methodologies, and DoD experience. You will work closely with program managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that systems are properly integrated and meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will have experience with systems integration, cloud computing, and a strong technical background in systems engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate complex systems.
- Ensure that systems meet customer requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement systems engineering processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that systems are properly integrated and meet customer needs.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a strong background in defense and aerospace.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, Agile methodologies, and DoD experience.
- Experience with systems integration, cloud computing, and a strong technical background in systems engineering.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
