Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of automation engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks for functional, regression, API, UI, and integration testing
- Mentor and coach automation engineers, analysts, and interns to elevate team expertise in automation best practices
- Drive automation strategy, including framework design, CI/CD integration, and tooling decisions for enterprise initiatives
- Champion and enforce automated testing best practices across development and QA teams
- Troubleshoot complex automation defects and framework issues; perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurring failures
- Own end-to-end accountability for automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, reporting automation health and risk to leadership
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on automated testing experience, including ownership of enterprise-grade automation solutions
- Expert proficiency in Pytest, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright with framework optimization and extension skills
- Deep API testing expertise with tools like Postman and ability to mentor others in API automation
- Proven leadership supporting large enterprise applications and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, and DevOps teams
- Exceptional debugging, system design, and root-cause analysis skills
