About the Role

C3 AI is looking for a VP, Product Strategy & Operations to grow a team to lead cross-functional projects and initiatives designed to improve C3 AI’s operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position will work side-by-side with product leaders, engineering leaders, pre-sales and services leaders, and customers. The candidate will also be responsible for, and will need to grow and scale C3 AI’s documentation and training teams – and align documentation and training plans with the product roadmap.

The VP, Product Strategy & Operations will orchestrate actions across teams to deliver against a comprehensive product strategy and to ensure software releases are delivered on-time and to-spec. Candidates for the Product Operations Manager role are expected to have excellent written and verbal communications skills and have expertise with running product operations, agile development processes, and with using software project management tools effectively. Proven organizational skills and superior time management skills are also required to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and drive discipline around the processes for prioritization, design, testing and launch of new products and features.
  • Grow a core product strategy and operations team
  • Grow and scale C3 AI’s product documentation, training, and community teams
  • Develop, manage, and continuously improve processes for scale that help the products, engineering, documentation, and training teams prioritize investment areas and meet their goals more efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify and escalate enterprise-wide exposure to release risk and work with the senior team to effectively mitigate it.
  • Work with product and engineering leaders and stakeholders to understand effort and priority of development initiatives.
  • Define and report success metrics to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of processes and solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience.
  • MBA or Masters in a technical field is a plus.
  • You have 15+ years of experience in product operations, product strategy, product management, or an operational role where you worked closely with product and engineering teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively with and coordinate multiple teams; reacts professionally under pressure.
  • Ability to formulate business strategies and plans, and their relationship to teams and collections of projects.
  • You have a can-do attitude and ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with project management tools is a requirement. Jira is a plus.
